Report on Human Rights Violation in November 2024.

The efforts of the Kurdistan Human Rights Association have been summarized based on the reports collected by this human rights organization. This report is not a complete report due to the Iranian government’s disallowance of human rights organizations and groups, and only depicts a part of human rights violations in eastern Kurdistan.

By Arresting Kurdish citizens, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has violated the civil, political and social rights of the Kurdish people and has continued this policy. Violation of freedom of opinion and expression, violation of the right to life and personal security, and government discrimination are things that are done daily by the Iranian government.

Execution
In continuation of the inhumane and hostile policies of the Iranian government, this month we have also witnessed the execution of 18 of our compatriots on the pretext of international murder, drugs and false accusations, one of which was a woman.

Arrest and sentencing
The arrest and imprisonment of citizens in this month is still increasing, and according to the summarized statistics, more than 20 of our compatriots have been arrested in East Kurdistan, and 2 of these citizens were women.
Also, as a result of false accusations, 14 citizens, 2 of whom were women, were sentenced to 15 years and 10 months in prison.
Also, 6 people were sentenced to death on charges of espionage, treason, and membership in opposition parties, one of them being a woman.

Murder and suicide
Murder and suicide, as two of the most destructive social harms as a result of the Iranian regime’s management crises, continue to take the lives of a large number of Kurdish people. In this month, more than 16 citizens have lost their lives by committing suicide or as a result of murder, the number of murders was 3, all of whom were men, and 13 of these were related to suicide, 5 of them, were women.

Farmers and traders
The direct fire of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and border guards and the explosion of a mine in this month led to the death of a farmer and a businessman, as well as the wounding of 4 citizens during the kolberi.

In the end, the Kurdistan Human Rights Association asks the Kurdish Society and people to make more efforts to achieve their legal and natural rights and to publicize any cases of Human Rights violations and to work hard to create a free society.
