According to the received reports, on Saturday, May 6, 2023, the detained citizen Arvin Nikpei, 20 years old, from the village of Nei, Marivan, committed suicide in the detention center of the Iranian government’s intelligence agency in that city.
According to this report, the named person was transferred from the detention center of the Intelligence Department to Fajr Hospital and was admitted under security measures.
It should be noted that this citizen was detained by Iranian security forces in Marivan on 11th of February last year and transferred to the government prison in that city on 21st March. But after one day, he was returned to the security detention center.
It is worth noting that Arvin Nikpi has been denied access to a lawyer since his arrest.
