According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Association Changiz Qadamkheiri, a former political prisoner who was injured during his arrest 11 years ago and spent 11 years in government prisons in Sanandaj (Sna) and Masjed Suleiman and Ahvaz, was surgically removed the bullet from the body in the one of the hospitals in the Soleimanieh a city of Kurdistan region.
This political prisoner was released on bail of 1 billion Iranian Rials in February 2022 for surgery, but was forced to leave Iran because the Ministry of Intelligence wanted to do the surgery under their control but he was feared that be killed deliberately.
Changiz Qadamkheiri was sentenced to 40 years in prison and transferred to the government prison in Masjed Soleiman in Khuzestan province on charges of “attempting against national security and membership in an opposition Kurdistan party”.
