On Monday, May 30, 2022, Eskandar Lotfi, a teacher union activist in the city of Marivan, went on a hunger strike during his illegal detention in protest of his neglect and pressure to obtain a confession.
It should be noted that the security forces of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran interrogated him in order to confess to his cooperation with two French citizens detained by the forces of the Intelligence Service of the Government of Iran.
It is worth mentioning that the mentioned temporary detention order has been extended in the Revolutionary Court of Marivan and with the consent of the prosecutor.
