On Monday, June 21, 2021, “Loghman Azizi”, a former political prisoner, was arrested by Iranian government intelligence in the Shno.
The arrest took place while his previous sentence was one month and he was repairing the prison’s toilet service at the request of the authorities.
The reason for the re-arrest of this political prisoner isn’t known yet.
Loghman Azizi was sentenced to 16 years in prison by the Revolutionary Court in 2017 on charges of collaborating with the Kurdistan Democratic Party. The sentence was reduced to 5 years ‘imprisonment and 8 years’ suspended sentence on appeal.
