According to the KMMK News Center, at least six Kurdish prisoners were executed in the early hours of Saturday, December 27, 2025, in prisons of the Iranian regime in Sna (Sanandaj), Yasuj, Nahavand, Dizelabad Kermashan, Aligudarz and Khorramabad; the sentences, which were issued mainly on charges of murder and in one case on charges related to drugs, have not been officially announced as of the time of writing this report.
According to information received from human rights sources, Vihan Shahmohammadi in Sanandaj, Ahmadreza Esfahani in Yasuj, Rahim Khodaparast in Nahavand, Ahmadali Safari in Aligudarz and Khalil Nouri in the regime prison of Ira Khorramabad were all executed on charges of murder and after being sentenced by the criminal court.
Nariman Souri, a prisoner held in the so-called Dizelabad prison in Kermashan, was also hanged on charges related to drug crimes and by order of the Revolutionary Court.
According to informed sources, in none of these cases has the execution of death sentences been publicly confirmed or announced by prison officials or official institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran as of the publication of this report.
These executions are considered to continue the worrying trend of increasing executions of death sentences, especially against the Kurdish people.
