According to the announcement of the KMMK News Center, in the continuation of the wave of detained of citizens and environmental activists related to the “Zagrosaneh Campaign”, two more citizens were detained in Sna (Sanandaj) on Saturday, December 27, 2025, increasing the number of arrests in this case in this city to three.
According to the information received, Sabah Salehi and Saber Salehi, two citizens from Sanandaj, have been detained by security forces. Previously, Ramin Salehi, a 39 years old environmental activist and Sabah Salehi’s cousin, was detained at his workplace for participating in the “Zagrosaneh Campaign” ceremony without a court order.
According to informed sources, these detained were made by the Intelligence Department forces in direct connection with the “Zagrosaneh Campaign” ceremony that was held the previous day in the Hasan Abad Castle area of Sanandaj.
Also, earlier, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, Shirko Kani Sanani, a photographer and environmental activist from Marivan and a member of the “Sabz Chia” association, was a detained by government forces after returning from a similar ceremony in the village of “Ni” in Marivan.
