According to the KMMK News Center, on the evening of Friday, December 26, 2025, four businessmen were involved in an accident following an avalanche in the border areas of “Miraveh” in Sardasht County, resulting in two deaths and two other businessmen being injured.
According to local sources, these citizens were traveling on the border mountain roads at the time of the accident when a sudden avalanche trapped them in the snow. Despite efforts to provide relief, two people died on the spot.
The identities of the victims of this accident have been reported as Khosrow Hamzehpour, a resident of the village of “Dole Garm” in Sardasht County, and Kamal Khezri, a resident of Piranshar County, married and father of three children. So far, accurate information about the identity and physical condition of the two injured businessmen has not been released.
KMMK News Center, citing the persistence of natural hazards and the lack of safe infrastructure in border areas, emphasizes that business citizens and those engaged in kolbari face serious threats to their lives every year during the cold season; a situation that once again highlights the need to pay attention to the livelihood and safety of residents of border areas.
