According to reports, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, the death sentence of Morteza Sayvand, a 35-year-old resident of Khorramabad, was carried out in Isfahan Central Prison.
He had previously been arrested on charges of premeditated murder and sentenced to qisas (retribution in kind) by Iran’s judiciary.
