This week, the execution sentences of four Iranian citizens were carried out in various prisons across Iran, reportedly on charges related to drug offenses and premeditated murder.
According to reports, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, Manouchehr Golabi (known as Baloch-Kareh), a 50-year-old Baloch citizen, was executed in Bandar Abbas Central Prison on drug-related charges. A few days later, on Wednesday, May 8, Rouhollah Moradiani, a 49-year-old resident of Kuhdasht, was also executed on similar charges in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
In addition, on Sunday, May 4, Saeed Shokoohi from Faryab and Ali Shafiei from Fasa were executed in Kerman and Adelabad Prison in Shiraz, respectively, both convicted of premeditated murder.
