According to a report received by KMMK, following a massive explosion of an oil tank at the Bandar Rajai customs in Bandar Abbas, Ayub Hawasi and Jabbar Darvishi, two citizens from Babagir village in Ivan county in Ilam province, lost their lives. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, April 26, 2025, has left more than a dozen dead and hundreds injured.
Ayub Hawasi and Jabbar Darvishi were among the workers who were working in the port area and died instantly due to the intensity of the explosion. Local sources have confirmed the news of the deaths of these two citizens.
Officials have not yet released a complete list of those killed and the identities of many of the victims have not been officially announced.
