On Saturday, January 7, 2022, two citizens identified as 22-year-old “Mohammad Mehdi Karmi” and “Seyed Mohammad Hosseini”, who are from Bijar, were executed by the Islamic Republic.
It should be noted that Mohammad Mahdi Karmi and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini were among the participants of the 40th ceremony of Hadis Najafi during the protests and strikes of the people of Iran, who, according to the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with 15 other people, were involved in the death of a Basiji member during the clashes that day.
It is worth mentioning that Mohammad Mahdi Karmi was known as the first-tier defendant in the case.
