On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the death sentence of Gholamali Mashallahi, a 43-year-old citizen from Qom, was carried out in Arak Central Prison. He had been convicted on charges related to drug offenses.
Mashallahi, a father of two, was arrested two years ago. Following a flawed judicial process, he was sentenced to death by Iran’s judiciary and the sentence was ultimately enforced.
