On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the execution of Naeem Abdi, a 22-year-old resident of Qorveh, was carried out at the central prison of the Iranian regime in the same city. Abdi had been sentenced to death for “premeditated murder” by judicial authorities.
According to reports, he was arrested two years ago and later sentenced to Qisas (retribution in kind) by the Iranian judicial system.
