Tehran, former political prisoner died due to illness


A citizen from Paveh with the identity of “Nabi Mohammadi”, who was previously a political prisoner, died due to illness in one of the hospitals in Tehran.

This citizen was arrested on Monday November 7, 2016, on the charge of “collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government”.

After three months of detention in the detention centers of Iran’s intelligence agency in Paveh and Kermashan, the aforementioned was sentenced to five years in prison by the Revolutionary Court of the Iranian government in Paveh.

It is worth mentioning that on Saturday December 14, 2019, Nabi Mohammadi was released from the Iranian government prison in Kermashan after posting bail.
