Following the widespread arrests after the December 2025 public protests, at least three citizens in the cities of Shabad (Eslamabad-e Gharb), Saravleh (Sarabaleh), and Dehloran were detained by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran without a judicial warrant and transferred to unknown locations during December 31, 2025 to January 2, 2026.
According to informed sources, Masoud Bineyaz, a citizen from Shabad (Eslamabad-e Gharb), was arrested on Friday, January 2, 2026. At the same time in Ilam Province, Rahim Sadeghi, a citizen from Saravleh, was arrested on Friday, January 2, 2026, in the evening, and Ali Mohammad Hayati, a 33-year-old citizen from Dehloran, was detained on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Reports indicate that on just January 1–2, 2026, at least 26 citizens were arrested in Kermanshah, Harsin, and Sarpol-e Zahab, and 37 citizens in Dareh-Shahr, Abdanan, and Dehloran.
As of the publication of this report, no information has been provided regarding the reasons for the arrests or the conditions of detention, and the security forces have offered no explanations.
