On Thursday, November 28, 2024, the death sentences of two citizens from Kermanshah, identified as Mohammad Ali Darekeh (54) and Siavash Yari (67), were carried out in Ardakan Central Prison in Yazd. The executions, related to alleged “drug offenses,” occurred without any official announcement or media coverage by outlets affiliated with Iran’s judiciary.
The two men had been arrested three years ago and subsequently sentenced to death by Iran’s judicial system.
