On May 21, 2021, The body of a 32-year-old Kurdish asylum seeker from Piranshahr, had been found in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands.
According to the report, “Azad Hassani” has been part of the LGBT Community, On the mentioned date, the finding of his body was published by the Amsterdam police and after the investigation, the cause of death was suicide.
Azad Hassani became a UN refugee in Turkey a few years ago, and after 4 years, with the help of that organization, he obtained a residence permit in the Netherlands.
