On Thursday, May 16, 2024, justice-seeker father, Kamal Lotfi was arrested by Islamic Republic of Iran regime security forces and, after interrogation, was transferred to a regime prison in Kamyaran.
It should be noted that Kamal Lotfi is the justice-seeker father of Reza Lotfi, who was murdered on September 19, 2022, by direct gunfire from the regime’s repressive forces in Divandareh during the revolutionary uprising “Jin, Jian, Azadi” – “Woman, Life, Freedom.”
It is important to mention that a few days after his son’s murder, in response to the regime’s claim that Reza Lotfi’s killing was attributed to non-governmental agents, Kamal Lotfi released a video emphasizing that the Iranian regime and directly Ali Khamenei were responsible for his son’s murder. He repeatedly asserted at his son’s grave that Ali Khamenei was responsible for his son’s death and all those who died in the struggle for freedom.
The charges against this justice-seeker father are currently unknown.
