Suicide of an Elderly Citizen from Mahabad

According to reports on Sunday, February 11, 2024, Shamal hawrami a 60-year-old citizen from Mahabad ended his own life due to economic pressure and family issues.

It should be mentioned that poverty resulting from the systematic discrimination of the government against the Kurdish people is one of the main causes of suicide, affecting not only the youth but also middle-aged and elderly individuals.
