On Wednesday, August 6, 2022, the death sentence of a citizen identified as “Mehdi Nourkarami”, 37 years old, from the village of “Bijanvand”, Shirvan sector, Ilam province, was executed.
According to reports, he was transferred to solitary confinement in Arak prison on Tuesday, August 05, without the permission to meet his family.
It should be noted that the mentioned person was detained 3 years ago, and sentenced to death by the judicial system of the government of Iran on charges of drug crimes.
