On Saturday, July 25, 2022, a former political activist and prisoner from Bokan named “Hemn MamGhaderi” was arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to a reliable source: Arrest of Hemn MamGhaderi was made without a court order by the security forces of the Iranian government.
Accordingly, the security forces transferred the citizen to one of the detention centers of the Iranian security centers in Urmia.
Also, until the news is prepared and published, there is no news about the charges against this former political prisoner.
Hemn MamGhaderi had previously been released from the prison of the Iranian government on April 13, 2019, after the outbreak of the corona virus and the announcement of a general amnesty.
It should be noted that he was arrested on May 17, 2017 on charges of collaborating with one of Iran’s Kurdish opposition parties and propaganda against the regime, and was transferred to the detention center of this Iranian security agency in Sanandaj (Sna).
After interrogation, he was transferred to Iran Prison in Baneh and later to the Prison of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Saqqez.
It is worth mentioning that the Revolutionary Court of Iran sentenced Hemn MamGhaderi to 11 years in prison on charges of collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties in Iran, and acquitted him of war.
In the Court of First Instance and with the decision of the Supreme Court of the Government of Iran, the sentence of Hemn MamGhaderi was reduced to five years of imprisonment and he was transferred to the Iranian prison in the city of Bokan.
