On Saturday, June 23, 2022, a citizen from the village of Gargavi, Oshnavieh (Shno) district, identified as “Yousef Amini”, 52 years old was transferred to the prison of the Islamic Republic of Iran in that city to serve his sentence.
According to the report, Yousef Amini was sentenced to two years in prison by Branch 1 of the Islamic Revolutionary Tribunal of Iran in Oshnavieh headed by Judge Rezaei, on February, 26, 2022 for “collaborating with a Kurdish party opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
It should be noted that the sentence was officially announced one month later, on March 27, 2022, and with the submission of a vote by this citizen, the sentence was reduced to 18 months in prison.
It should be noted that Yousef Amini was detained by the security forces of the Iranian government on February 3, 2022, without a court order, and was released on 150 million Toman bail until the trial.
