On Sunday, May 1, 2022, a 13 years old student in ilam committed suicide by throwing himself from a multi-storey building after being disciplined at school and then by his parents.
According to the report received, the parents of this student were invited to school due to disciplinary issues. After the student’s parents return home, he is punished by the father, which causes the student to commit suicide by falling himself from the window of a residential room.
Hrana stated that the student was physically punished by the school teachers at the school.
