According to the report of the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, on Sunday, April 3, 2022, “Younes Mohammadi Shiveh” 18 years old, son of Majid and a resident of the village of “Haji Jafan” in Salmas city, committed suicide by taking pills and taking his own life.
The informed source added that he had committed suicide due to a failed love affair.
It’s worth mentioning that poverty and lack of work, severe economic pressure and forced marriage, gender discrimination, lack of legal protection for women, poverty and unemployment are the main causes of suicides in Kurdistan.
