The situation of Massoud (nayeb) Hajizadeh is vague
KMMK:
According to reports received by the Kurdistan Human Rights association, on Sunday, March 12, 2022, Massoud (nayeb) Hajizadeh, a 45 year old civilian with five children from the village of Yangijeh in the Somayeh Bradost district of Urmia, was a political prisoner in very poor health and needs immediate medical attention.
It should be noted that after his hunger strike and with the pressure of human rights institutions on the judicial officials and the Iranian prison in Urmia, he was sent to a hospital outside the prison for surgery on February 1, 2021 and underwent abdominal surgery and his second operation had to be performed after 10 days.
However, this political prisoner not only did not undergo a second operation, but also was deprived of any primary medical treatment and medication, which caused a severe infection in his abdomen.
It is worth mentioning that recently, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Urmia Province issued a bail of one billion and two hundred million Tomans to send him to leave.
Massoud (nayeb) Hajizadeh was initially sentenced by the Iranian judiciary to 10 years and one day in prison on political charges, and was eventually reduced to 7 years and 6 months in prison by an Iranian court of appeals in Urmia province.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Association holds the Iranian government responsible for the health and life of this prisoner and calls for immediate treatment.
