Mohamad Taher Soleimani Dizjeh, a 65 year old prisoner, was executed

On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, The death sentence of “Mohammad Taher Soleimani Dizjeh”, who had been sentenced to death on drug charges, was carried out in the Iranian government prison in the Mahabad

The Kurdistan Human Rights Association announced yesterday that the prisoner was in danger of being executed. He was accused of carrying 10kg of morphine and was sentenced to death.
The family of this prisoner was informed on Tuesday, July 29, to visit for the last time.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, meanwhile, has announced that it has suspended the execution of drug suspects after reviewing drug-related laws.
