On Monday, June 7, 2021, “Vahed alinejad” a political prisoner and resident of Shno (Oshnavieh) was transferred to IRGC’s detention centre in Urmie.
Mr Alinejad is serving a 6 year sentence. He was previously transferred from the government prison in Naghadeh to Shno’s prison in mid-June.
He was arrested by the security forces in the summer of 2018 and released on bail. This political prisoner was sentenced to 6 years in prison by the Revolutionary Court in early September 2021, on charges of membership in a Kurdish opposition party to the I.R’s government, and was finally arrested in September 2021 to serve his sentence and transferred to prison.
