Mother tongue rights trampled in Iran
Mother tongue is a right and that right will not be lost not only the children get older. in countries centralization is based on a language and other languages denied and prohibited, the oppression of the ethnic groups who speak other than the national language, the right to education in their native language, in many documents human rights treaties, such as the Charter of the mother tongue, the general declaration of linguistic rights, paragraphs 3 and 4 of Article 4 of the declaration on the rights of persons belonging to ethnic, national, linguistic and religious, Article 30 of the child, Article 27 of the international Covenant on Civil and political rights, and dozens of others as a basic human right has been accepted worldwide. But the Iranian regime’s policy of a nation, a language that has been inherited from previous governments strengthened in Iran still.
According to Article 15 of the Iranian Constitution “official language and script of Iran is Persian, but the use of ethnic languages in the press and mass media, in schools, in addition to Persian learn is legal.” Although the law is a violation of human rights because the language has preference over other languages, many people from non-Persian nationalities protested indicated why this law is not respected by the state, and they are doomed by the judiciary in Iran to longer prison terms or death with labels separatists and war against God.
Kurdistan Human Rights Association in the native language today want human rights advocates to organize against discrimination and oppression pending against various ethnic Iran. Adding that social ties without respect and ensure the rights and freedoms of all social classes, including race, color, sex, language, religion, political opinion, national or social origin, property status, place of birth, would not be possible.
