On Thursday, March 25, 2021, a woman with the identity of Galavizh Gholami committed suicide and ended her life.
Galavizh Gholami resident of Tangisar village of Sna city.
According to reports received by KMMK, he died due to the severity of her injuries caused by the self immolation before being transferred to the hospital.
It is worth mentioning that the reason for this woman’s suicide was family disputes.
Forced marriage, gender discrimination, lack of legal protection for women, poverty and unemployment are the main causes of suicide in Kurdistan.
