East Kurdistan; Release of two citizens on bail

On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, “Hossein Mohammadpour”, a citizen of Shno, was released from a government security detention center in Urmia on 500 million Toman bail.
He was arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the city of Sheno on January 30, 202, on charges of “collaborating with one of the opposition parties” and was transferred to a security detention center in Urmia for interrogation later that month.
In other news, on Wednesday, March 10, Akram (Mohammad) Advaei, a resident of Slen village in Sarvabad district of Sna province, was temporarily released from government prison in Marivan on bail.
Akram Advaei was arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on January 12, and transferred to one of the security detention centers of the Iranian government in Marivan for interrogation. After the interrogation, he was transferred to Marivan Prison.
As of this writing, the reasons for the arrest and the charges against the citizen are unknown.
