According to a report received by the Kurdistan Human Rights Association on Sunday 20 August 2017, at 11:00 morning, a corpse was found by farmers in the village of Boboktani, from the city of Bukan, East of Kurdistan.

According to the report, the found body belongs to a 45 years old woman whose identity is not known. After that, the body was transferred to the center of the refrigerating center of Bukan via communication with the center of 115 (Emergency ) and the fire brigade. It is noteworthy that, according to the findings of the corpse, it is likely that the woman is victim and killed.

It should be noted that the phenomenon of suicide and the killing of women in Iran and also in eastern Kurdistan has become a serious problem in which harm and damage to society are irreparable. Undoubtedly, the existence of an Islamic Republic of Iran and a system free from its law, as well as the patriarchal tradition, commit such crimes on the pretext of maintaining honor.
