Arrests of 213 Kurds in northern Kurdistan by the Turkish government

According to a report from the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, end of week of July 2017, the Turkish government and its ruling party, led by Erdogan, during their recent repression in northern Kurdistan, arrested more than 213 people by their military and security forces and sent to jail.

According to Reuters Agency,a total of 1098 people were arrested in Turkey last week, with 213 detainees arrested for contact with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

In this report, Turkey’s repressive policies against the opposition have also been added to the crackdown after a failed coup in Turkey last year, with more than 50,000 people arrested over a year and more than 150,000 people So far, government agencies and other organs have been expelled.
