Behzad Mahmoud Nezhad was sentenced to 30 years in prison with the exile to Khorasan Razavi on charges of cooperating with Kurdistan parties.

According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Association and quoted democracy and Kurdistan Human Rights , a five years imprisonment sentence and a 25 years suspended imprisonment and exile to Khorasan Razavi for Behzad Mahmoud Nezhad, the son of Osman, have been reaffirmed in recent days,on Thursday 11 May 2017, Islamic Revolutionary Tribunal of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Orumieh, East of Kurdistan, issued the verdict for Behzad Mahmoud Nezhad, charged with “cooperating with Kurdish parties”.

On Saturday 16 September 2017, near the villages of Qusrik and Hashtyan, from Soma and Bradost functions 70 kilometers north of Orumiyeh, east of Kurdistan, security forces shooting on a civilian vehicle, following which a person named “Arkan Saeedi” The residents of the village of Gichi were killed and Behzad Mahmoud Nezhad was wounded and then arrested.

Behzad Mahmoud Nezhad, a resident of Gichi village, was under intense security measures after being wounded in the hospital, and after being recovered, he was interrogated for three months at the Detention Center of Orumiyeh Information Office.

At that time, after delivering  Arkan Saeedi body, security forces announced to his family that they do not have the right to hold a funeral ceremony in the mosque.
